Just Two More Weeks!

We're continuing our preparations for the Hop. All the stores are getting their one-skein projects together -- but this year, you'll have to visit each shop to see the projects! Don't worry, though. That just means you'll have a chance to enter and win one of the daily raffles at each shop you visit. So far we have 24 sponsors (see the Sponsor page) that have generously donated products to make prize packages that you'll have to see to believe.

2011 Shop Hop Hours

This year's hour for the shop hop are: Friday, May 13th 10am to 7pm, Saturday, May 14th 10am to 6pm and Sunday, May 15th 10am to 4pm.

More Sponsors

This year we're going to have some really great raffle prizes. Each store will have daily raffles, so there are a total of 36 chances to win fabulous prizes from our favorite companies. Check the Sponsors page or take a look at the list of sponsors on the right side of this blog. Prizes include patterns and yarn.

April Updates

We excited to announce our first corporate sponsors: Blue Sky Alpacas and Spud & Chloe! They are helping to make our raffle prizes that much better, and more enticing. Keep checking back here and the P2P website for more about prizes and patterns for this year's hop.

We're getting some photos of projects from previous years up on our Ravelry page. If you haven't participated before, take a look and see what we've done in the past.

We're getting this year's patterns together and will post photos as soon as they're ready.

Dates for 2011 Shop Hop

This year, the Peninsula to Pier Shop Hop will be Friday through Sunday, May 13-15. The shops and map are up on the website, so check out what's new this year.

We will have more information about the theme and other new stuff soon, so keep checking back!

Shop Hop News

Well, it's September and that's usually Shop Hop month, but this year we had so many things we wanted to do that we are going to be holding off until May 2011 for the Peninsula to Pier LYS Hop.

Hope you can wait until then to see all we have planned! Of course, you can visit your local yarn shops any time, and the beginning of fall is a great time to go and check out all of the new yarn and patterns.
